Out of the blue I received a surprising email the other day. A lady by the name of Jacki had attended an art show just outside of Wollongong of a Jane Davenport. The impressive feature was the many photographs and art pieces of ladybirds as well as pens, necklaces and other gifts.
In the email Jacki was highlighting to Jane that she had come across a wine, while recently in Margaret River, with ladybirds on its label.
Yes it was a Gherardi Viognier. I was thrilled to view the bottle along side a ladybird necklace and pen purchsed form the art exhinition.
This sort of positive advertising I enjoy to see people matching features of our wine with what others are doing.
